ORDER
By asserting that an error was committed in the UDR records by classifying S.No.249/279(part) as Oorani, the petitioner had approached this court in W.P.(MD)No.9535 of 2017. By order dated 24.05.2017, the said writ petition was disposed of by directing the District Revenue Officer to pass orders on merits within a period of eight weeks.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the District Revenue Officer has not disposed of the petitioner's representation and that the bifurcation of Tirunelveli has caused further delay in the process. He also submits that an order was issued by the Special Tahsildar in July 2018 and that the said order may be taken into consideration by the District Revenue Officer before disposing of the matter.
3. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for all the respondents. He submits that the District Revenue Officer would pass orders on merits within three months.
