This criminal original petition has been filed to quash the First Information Report registered in Crime No.388 of 2025 on the file of the first respondent Police Station, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(A) of Tamil Nadu Prohibition (Amendment) Act, 2024, Section 24 of TN Prohibition Act and Section 3(5) of BNS, 2023.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, would submit that pursuant to the investigation in Crime No.388 of 2025, a final report has been filed by the first respondent before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ambasamuthiram, Tirunelveli District.

3.In view of the same, this criminal original petition is dismissed as infructuous with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the above said Final Report, if so advised. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
