The petitioner seeks to quash the F.I.R. in Crime No.145 of 2024 pending on the file of the first respondent Police.

2. During the course of arguments, when this Court expressed that the points raised by the learned counsel for the petitioner are factual in nature, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission to withdraw this petition.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, this criminal original petition is dismissed as withdrawn. However, the first respondent shall file a final report within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if any of the cognizable offence is made out. It is needless to say that the first respondent would have no jurisdiction to file the final report for the offence under Sections 21(1) and 21(2) of Mines and

Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act as the Court can take cognizance only on the complaint of the authorized officer. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions is closed.
