O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed to quash the First Information Report registered in Crime No.22 of 2025 on the file of the first respondent Police Station for the offences punishable under Sections 9 and 10 of Prohibition of Child Marriage Act and Sections 5(l), 5(j)(ii), 6 and 17 of POCSO Act, 2012.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, would submit that pursuant to the investigation in Crime No.22 of 2025, a final report has been filed before the Mahila Court, Karur, on 01.10.2025.

3.In view of the same, this criminal original petition is dismissed as infructuous with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the above said Final Report, if so advised. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
