ORDER

The petitioner asserts that he is in possession and enjoyment of about 5 cents of natham land in T.S.No.1/1 from about 1986.

2. The petitioner relies on tax receipts and electricity bills in support of the claim that he is in possession of the said land.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no action has been taken on the petitioner's request for patta in spite of submitting more than one representation in that regard.

4. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice for respondents 1 to 3. Learned Standing Counsel accepts notice for the 4th respondent. Learned Government Advocate submits that the petitioner's request would be considered and disposed of on merits.

Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on the merits, this writ petition is disposed of by directing second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's request for patta within four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner. No costs.
