..Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd Respondent to conduct election for the Petitioner's Nesavalar Colony Maintenance Committee, situated at Madurai Road, Aruppukottai , Virudhunagar District, by considering their representation dated 30.09.2024 within the stipulated time fixed by this Court. ORDER

The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to conduct an election for the Petitioner's Nesavalar Colony Maintenance Committee, situated at Madurai Road, Aruppukottai, Virudhunagar District, by considering their representation dated 30.09.2024, within the time stipulated by this Court. 2/5

2. Mrs.S.Jeyapriya, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for respondents 1 and 2. Since no adverse order is going to be passed against the other respondents, notice to them is dispensed with. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, in their colony, known as Nesavalar Colony, there are more than 200 houses. The petitioner submitted representations on 21.04.2024 and 30.09.2024 to the second respondent seeking conduct of election for the Nesavalar Colony Maintenance Committee and also requesting action regarding alleged misappropriation. Since no action has been taken, the petitioner has approached this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 and 2 submits that the petitioner's representations will be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.09.2024, and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner, the respondents 3 to 6, and other interested parties, if any.

6. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
