Prayer : Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a WRIT OF MANDAMUS directing the 1st respondent to grant regular time scale of pay to the petitioner by regularizing the service of the petitioner from 25.08.2012 on the basis of the proposal submitted by the 2nd respondent bearing letter No. 0897/SCPS/2022 dated 27.05.2022 to the 1st respondent by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 05.11.2025 and pass such further or other Orders as this Honble Court may deem fit and proper in the said circumstances of this and thus render justice. ORDER
This writ petition is filed seeking direction to the 1st respondent to grant regular time scale of pay to the petitioner by regularizing the service of the petitioner from 25.08.2012 on the basis of the proposal submitted by the 2nd respondent bearing letter No. 0897/SCPS/2022 dated 27.05.2022 to the 1st respondent by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 05.11.2025.

Considering the fact that the 2nd respondent had sent a proposal to the Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Social Welfare and Women Empowerment Department, Secretariat, Chennai-09 on 27.05.2022, seeking to take appropriate policy decision in respect of the contractual staffs working under the Integrated Child Protection Scheme under Special Time Scale of pay, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the proposal submitted by the 2nd respondent on 27.05.2022 and the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 05.11.2025, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
3. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
