ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.Sale deed dated 28.04.2025 was executed by the writ petitioner in favour of Palanivel to convey the petition mentioned property. Registration was refused on the ground that there is some discrepancy in the name of the writ petitioner's vendor's father. Challenging the stand of the registering officer, this writ petition has been filed. 3.The petitioner had purchased the petition mentioned property from one Kasthurirengan vide sale deed dated 03.12.2019. It was registered as Document No.2293 of 2019 on the file of the second respondent. The revenue records also stand in the name of the writ petitioner. When the property had already changed hands and the petitioner is having patta (Patta No.2086), the registering officer could not have raised any objection for registering the sale deed dated 2/4

28.04.2025 on the ground that there is some confusion regarding the correct name of Kasthurirengan, the vendor of the writ petitioner. Much water has flown under the bridge and this has not been taken note by the registering officer. When the registering officer did not raise any objection for registering the sale deed in favour of the writ petitioner, he cannot raise any objection when the writ petitioner executes a sale deed. The impugned refusal check slip is quashed. The parties at liberty to represent the document. It shall be registered and released subject to the fulfilment of the other usual formalities.
