Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS directing the 5th respondent to reimburse the medical expenses of Rs. 2,48,176/-(Two Lakh forty-eight Thousand and Hundred and seventy six only) to the petitioner incurred for the treatment of his mother under The New Health Insurance Scheme by considering his representation dated 28.10.2025 within the period that may be stipulated by this Honble Court and pass such other or further orders as this Honble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of this case and thus render justice. ORDER
This writ petition is filed seeking direction to the 5th respondent to reimburse the medical expenses of Rs. 2,48,176/-(Two Lakh forty-eight Thousand and Hundred and seventy six only) to the petitioner incurred for the treatment of his mother under The New Health Insurance Scheme by considering his representation dated 28.10.2025. 2/4
2. Even though the petitioner has sought for a positive Mandamus, it is seen that the petitioner has made a representation on 28.10.2025 for the very same relief.
3.In view of the same, the 4th respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.10.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
