After filing a revision petition against the order dated 28.06.2023 of the Revenue Divisional Officer, the petitioner seeks the early disposal of such revision petition.

2. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice for all the respondents. On the basis of written instructions, he submits that the District Revenue Officer would dispose of the pending revision petition within three (3) months.

3. From the averments in the affidavit, it appears that the patta issued in favour of the petitioner under patta No.321 was cancelled on application by one Subramani. Therefore, it is necessary that a reasonable opportunity be provided to the said Subramani before the revision petition is decided.

Subject to the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's revision petition on merits within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the said Subramani.
