Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to initiate appropriate criminal action based on the petitioner's complaint, dated 27.01.2025 acknowledged by the 1st respondent in Petition No.G3/2005, dated 27.01.2025 and forwarded to the DSP, DCB-I, Thanjavur. ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for Mandamus to direct the respondents herein to initiate appropriate criminal action based on the petitioner's complaint dated 1/4

27.01.2025, which was acknowledged by the first respondent in Petition No.G3/2005, dated 27.01.2025 and forwarded to the DSP, DCB-I, Thanjavur.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioner, an enquiry is pending to ascertain whether any cognizable offence is made out and that the same would be concluded within a period of two weeks.

3. In view of the above submission, there shall be a direction to the respondents to complete the above said enquiry and communicate the result of the same to the petitioner within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
