Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to trace out the original exchange deed in DOC.No.2690/2002 dated 03.10.2002, which was registered in the Sub Registrar Office, Manapparai, Tiruchirappalli District, executed in favour of the petitioner and his family members or to issue a Non-Traceable Certificate to him, within time frame as fixed by this Court. ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for Mandamus to direct the second respondent to trace out the original exchange deed in DOC.No.2690/2002 dated 03.10.2002, which was registered in the Sub Registrar Office, Manapparai, Tiruchirappalli District, executed in favour of the petitioner and his family members or to issue a Non-Traceable Certificate to him by considering the petitioner's representation dated 24.06.2024.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that if the petitioner complies with all the requirements, the respondents would consider the petitioner's representation in accordance with the circular issued by the Director General of Police/Head of Police Force, Chennai, in Rc.No.2029209/General.1(1)/2022, dated 01.04.2022 and communicate the decision taken on the said representation within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. In view of the aforesaid undertaking, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
