Heard Mr.S.Bharathy Kannan, learned counsel for Petitioner and Mr.Vaikkam Karunanidhi, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), takes notice for 2nd Respondent.

Learned Counsel for Petitioner submits that this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, 1963, seeking to condone the delay of 134 days in filing the criminal revision petition against the order of Principal District Judge, Sivagangai in Crl.MP.No. 827 of 2024 dated 04.02.2025 and consequential proceedings in Crl.Appeal No.8 of 2025 on the file of Principal District Judge, Sivagangai.

3. Mr.Vaikkam Karunanidhi, learned Government Advocate for 2nd Respondent, has stated that he has no objection to allowing this petition.

4. Being satisfied with reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition, the delay of 134 days in filing the above criminal revision petition is condoned.

5. Registry is directed to number the Criminal Revision Petition, if it is otherwise in order.
