O R D E R

By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to conduct enquiry and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 28.10.2025 in respect of cancelling the property tax assessment stand in the name of 3rd respondent in respect of the petitioner's building situated in the petitioner's property in SF No.393/3A in Patta No.5896 of Karambakudi Village and Taluk, Pudukkottai District.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner is the owner of the property in S.F.No.393/3A and the patta was granted in the 2/6

name of the petitioner in patta No.5896. The petitioner entered into a rental agreement with the TASMAC management in respect of concrete building. The petitioner put up a small asbestos shed adjoined with the aforesaid concrete building and the petitioner also entered into a rental agreement with the third respondent in respect of the shed as the bar. He further submits that taking advantage of the petitioner's innocence, the third respondent obtained property tax assessment in his name in respect of the property in S.F.No.393/3A. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation on 28.10.2025, seeking to conduct enquiry and to cancel the property tax assessment stand in the name of the third respondent in respect of the said property. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner has approached this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocates appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 28.10.2025 would be considered in accordance with law.

5. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.10.2025 and pass orders on 3/6

merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
