Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a WRIT OF MANDAMUS, directing the 6th and 7th respondents to provide medical reimbursement to the petitioner for a sum of Rs.3,66,095/- and Rs. 10,714/- based upon the proceedings of the 8th respondent in Na.Ka.No.1198/Ki2/2023, dated 04.09.2025, based upon the representation given by the petitioner dated 07.09.2022, within time limit stipulated by this Honble Court and pass such further or other orders as this Honble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of this case and thus render justice.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking direction to the 6th and 7th respondents to provide medical reimbursement to the petitioner for a sum of Rs.3,66,095/- and Rs. 10,714/- based upon the proceedings of the 8th respondent in Na.Ka.No.1198/Ki2/2023, dated 04.09.2025, based upon the representation given by the petitioner dated 07.09.2022.

2. Considering the fact that his claim for medical reimbursement had been pending and that it had been referred back to the 8th respondent for adjudication under the Tamil Nadu Medical Attendance Rules.

3. In such view of the matter, the petitioner is directed to comply with the directions issued by the 8th respondent by submitting a proper application to the 6th and 7th respondents. Upon receipt of such application, 3/6

the petitioner's claim shall be considered in accordance with the Tamil Nadu Medical Attendance Rules and disposed of on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks thereafter.

4. This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
