Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of CERTIORARI MANDAMUS to call for the records relating to the impugned provisional selection list dated 13.11.2025 publishes by the 3rd respondent and quash the same is illegal, arbitrary, malicious, and violative of principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner as Assistant Professor under the category of BC-W) in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, within the stipulated time and pass such other or further orders as this Honble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of this case and thus render justice. ORDER
This writ petition is filed challenging the impugned provisional selection list dated 13.11.2025 publishes by the 3rd respondent and seeking consequential direction to the respondents to appoint the petitioner as Assistant Professor under the category of BC-W) in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Advocate General submitted that there was an error in placing the petitioner in the backward class category. The petitioner should have been placed in the BC(W) category, and if so placed, she would be entitled to appointment.
3. Recording the above submissions made by the learned Additional Advocate General, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 3rd respondent to place the petitioner in the appropriate position in the selection list and, if she is otherwise eligible, to issue her the order of appointment. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
