ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking Mandamus directing the respondents to grant Tariff conversion from TF III-A(1) to TF IV under Tatkal scheme in respect of agricultural EB connections Nos. 303-003-1651 and 303-003-1652 by considering the petitioners application dated 30.09.2021 and grant two new agricultural service connections by considering the petitioner's application dated 26.03.2024 and grant temporary service connection by considering the petitioners Online application No. 2003030325326 dated 17.03.2025 without insisting the demand which was set aside in WP (MD) No. 2/5

19377 of 2018 dated 26.08.2025, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 10.10.2025.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, it was submitted by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents, on instructions, that (i)the respondents are ready to give free agricultural electricity service connection on priority basis.

(ii) the tariff would be changed, once the Government reintroduce the Tatkal scheme, which is in the anvil.

(iii) they are also ready to give temporary connection as sought for by the petitioner.

3. This Writ Petition is disposed of on the above terms. The respondents are directed to give temporary connection within two weeks from today (i.e., 26.11.2025). The respondents shall not await the order of this Court, since the order has been passed in the presence of the learned counsels. No costs.
