PRAYER:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose the review petition pending before him filed on 23.09.2025 within the time limit stipulated by this Court and till such time the order passed by the second respondent in Ne.Mu.2769769/2024/E1 dated 30.04.2025 be kept in abeyance in so far as the petitioner is concerned. ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by DR.ANITA SUMANTH, J.) This Writ Petition is dismissed in limine.
2.The petitioner has admittedly moved the revisional authority under Section 10-A(1)(c) of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 on 23.09.2025, and has rushed to this Court seeking a Mandamus directing R1 to dispose the review petition.
3.We are utterly disinclined to consider such a Writ Petition and dismiss the same. It is however open to the petitioner to approach the authority seeking early disposal of the petition and it is for the 2/4
authority to decide such request as he thinks fit. No costs. Consequently Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
