ORDER
(Order of the Court was delivered by DR.G.JAYACHANDRAN, J.) This writ petition is filed alleging that the fifth respondent damaged the common pathway in Survey No.548/22 in Mandabasalai Village, Aruppukkottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District and put up a septic tank illegally.
2.Since the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 13.11.2025 in this regard had not been acted upon by the official respondents, the present writ petition is filed seeking a mandamus to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to remove the encroachment obstructing the access of the Government pathway.

3.Today, when the writ petition is taken up for hearing, the second respondent, namely Tahsildar, Aruppukottai Taluk has filed a status report stating that pursuant to the interim direction issued by this Court on 10.12.2025, with the help of the jurisdictional police, the septic tank, which was constructed by the fifth respondent in the public pathway, had been removed on 18.12.2025. The photographs are also enclosed to show the removal of septic tank.
4.The learned Counsel for the petitioner also conceds that the alleged encroachment is removed pursuant to the interim direction given by this Court.
