O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking Mandamus directing the 1st Respondent to renew and reissue Passport to the petitioner based on his application in File Number MD2075368549025 dated 22.07.2025, by accepting the explanation letter dated 29.08.2025 within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Central Government Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, would submit that if the petitioner appears in-person and gives his explanation for the discrepancy in his date of birth, his application will be considered.

3. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to approach the first respondent within a period of two weeks from today (i.e., 25.11.2025) and on his appearance with the written explanation, the same shall be considered and order shall be passed within a period of two week therefrom. No costs.
