ORDER

By asserting that the petitioner is in possession and enjoyment of Tharisu property in S.No.979/A, the petitioner seeks the issuance of free house site patta in relation thereto.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner relies on the aadhaar card and the family card as evidence that the petitioner is residing in a hut on the said property.

3. Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for all the respondents. He submits that the Tahsildar would consider the request and pass orders on merits within three months.

4. As per the revenue records, it appears that S.No.979/A is of the aggregate extent of 72.5 ares. The classification is Tharisu. Bearing these aspects in mind, the Tahsildar is directed to consider the petitioner's request and dispose of the same on merits within three months from the date of receipt of a 2/4

copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner. No costs.
