By asserting that the petitioner is 75 years old and presently residing in resettlement survey No.25, which is Natham land, the petitioner had applied for a patta. The present Writ Petition relates thereto.
2. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice for both the respondents. He has placed on record a communication dated 25.10.2025 declining the request for patta in respect of survey No.25/154 on the ground that the said property is classified as 'Sarkar Poramboku' and is used as a pathway. The said communication also records that the petitioner's request in respect of the property occupied by him would be considered after verifying his eligibility.
3. In view of the above communication, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the Tahsildar to consider the petitioner's request by verifying his eligibility for grant of patta. A speaking order shall be 2/4
