This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1st and 2nd to measure and demarcate his properties in Survey No. 125/3 and 125/4 situated at Thimmanatham Village, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District, and also direct to give adequate police protection by the 3rd respondent during the survey and fencing by considering the petitioner's representations dated 18.11.2025.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission itself.
3. The petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents 1 and 2 on 18.11.2025 and an online application dated 27.06.2025 for survey and demarcate the property of the petitioner. However, no action has been taken on the said petition. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that after consideration of the claims of both the parties, proper steps would be taken to demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

In view of the above, this Court directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.11.2025 and demarcate the land of the petitioner, after considering the claims of both the parties and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If there are rival claims, the said issues can be agitated before the civil Court. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
