This criminal original petition has been filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.96 of 2025 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Saptur Police Station, Madurai District.

2. This is the case in counter pertaining to the Crime No.96 of 2025 and Crime No.97 of 2025. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on instructions, submitted that already the investigation is over, and the case is at the stage of e-filing of the final report before the learned Jurisdictional Magistrate. 3, However, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the investigation ought to have been conducted following the mandates of the judgment of the Hon'ble Full Bench of this Court in T.Balaji and another Vs. The State reported in 2024 (5) CTC 1 and also the Section 566 of Police standing orders.

4. Recording the same and directing the Investigating Officer to conclude the investigation by following the mandates of Balaji case and Section 566 of the Police Standing Orders, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
