ORDER
A communication dated 25.08.2025 from the Tashildar to the Revenue Divisional officer is challenged in this writ petition.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the impugned communication was issued to the petitioner and that the petitioner is aggrieved by the last paragraph therein in as much as it recommends the grant of patta to Natarajan and 5 others based on UDR records.
3. Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for respondents 1 and 2. He submits that the impugned communication is in the nature of a report from the Tahsildar to the Revenue Divisional Officer and that it is not binding on the Revenue Divisional Officer. He also submits that it is stated therein that rectification of the Town Survey Land Register is necessary in order to remedy the petitioner's grievance.

4 .The petitioner has relied not only on sale deed dated 06.10.2022 but also on the revenue Records, namely, patta No.1887, which has been issued in the petitioner's name in respect of S.Nos.455/4A1B to 455/4A1E of the aggregate extent of 2 ares. In these circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to consider all the material documents submitted by the petitioner and thereafter, take a decision on the petitioner's request for rectification of the Town Survey Land Register in line with the title documents and revenue records. A speaking order shall be issued within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
