O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.2 of 2020 on the file of the first respondent police insofar as the petitioner is concerned.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that since there is no concrete evidence to proceed further under the criminal law, as per the proceedings in Lr.No. 1345/vi.pa.aa.II/2023-1, dated 10.04.2023 and Lr.No.1345/vi.pa.aa. II/2023-1, dated 24.04.2023 of the Vigilance Commission, Chennai, Tribunal disciplinary proceedings was ordered against the accused and the FIR in the case was closed and further action was dropped on 09.01.2025 by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate cum Special Judge, Thanjavur @ Kumbakonam vide RCS No.03/2025. It is submitted that all the records were handed over and the case is pending before the Tribunal for Disciplinary Proceedings, Trichy.

3.
