The petitioner seeks the issuance of a computerised patta as per the directions of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Thanjavur, dated 03.01.2018.

2. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice for all the respondents. He submits that the District Collector would consider the request of the petitioner and pass orders thereon after providing a reasonable opportunity to all the legal heirs of late Vadivelu.

3. The order dated 03.01.2018 of the Revenue Divisional Officer directs the Tahsildar to make entries in the online records by reflecting the name of the pattadar as Vadivelu. The land appears to have been allotted to the said Vadivelu, who is no more. As per the legal heirship certificate, there are four legal heirs, including the petitioner. Therefore, it is necessary to issue notice to all the legal heirs before a decision is 2/4

taken.

4. Subject to the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's request and dispose of the same on merits after providing a reasonable opportunity to all the persons mentioned in the earlier paragraph. A speaking order shall be issued within four (4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
