Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to provide compassionate appointment to the petitioner in pursuant to the proceedings dated 21.01.2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent within the time frame stipulated by this Honble court and pass such other or further orders as this Honble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of this case and thus render justice.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking direction to the 1st respondent to provide compassionate appointment to the petitioner in pursuant to the proceedings dated 21.01.2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent.

2. Considering the fact that the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment has been forwarded by the 2nd respondent to the first respondent as early as on 21.01.2025.

3. In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the proposal forwarded by the 2nd respondent dated 21.01.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
