Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.03.2025, consequent,y recalculate the petitioner's pension, gratuity and all retirement benefits from 01.08.1990, the date on which he became an EPF member and pay the differential arrears of pension and other retirement benefits along with 6% interest within a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner has served as a conductor in the respondent transport corporation and retired from service on 31.05.2013. The petitioner with a grievance that his retirement benefits have not been calculated properly, has submitted a representation to the respondents and filed this writ petition.

2.When this writ petition is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the respondents has produced a proceedings dated 06.12.2025 and submits that the petitioner's benefits has been calculated by taking into his date of joining and his date of regularisation and therefore, there is no error in the calculation. 2/4

4.Recording the above submission, this writ petition is closed. Since there is no representation for the petitioner, the respondents shall communicate the proceedings dated 06.12.2025 to the petitioner by way of registered post within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order enabling him to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
