The petitioner seeks a direction in relation to the transfer of patta for the property comprised in S.F.No.353/1.

Learned counsel for the petitioners relies on a sale deed dated 16.08.1993 in the name of the petitioner's father, death certificates of the petitioner's father and mother and the legal heirship certificate. As the sole surviving Class-I legal heirs of the owners of the property, he submits that the petitioners are entitled to a patta transfer in their favour.

3. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for both the respondents. He points out that the petitioners' request was rejected on 11.09.2025 because the petitioners had not submitted material documents. Against this order, he points out that an appeal has been lodged on 31.10.2025.

Considering these developments, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to consider and dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioners within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioners.
