PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.05.2025 and consequently direct the third respondent to issue the legal heir certificate of the petitioner's husband Rajasekar died on 09.02.2025.

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus directing the third respondent to consider the request of the writ petitioner for issuance of a Legal Heir Certificate.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, her husband had passed away on 09.02.2025 and thereafter, she had given a representation to the third respondent as well as the first respondent seeking the issuance of a Legal Heir Certificate. As per the affidavit, the fifth and sixth respondents are the parents of the deceased. The writ petitioner has also made an online application on 08.12.2025.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 4 submitted that the online application made by the writ petitioner on 08.12.2025 would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed.

4. Considering the above said facts, the third respondent herein is directed to pass orders on the online application made by the writ petitioner on 08.12.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
