The above petition has been filed seeking orders to condone the delay of 87 days in filing the appeal, challenging the judgment of conviction made in Spl.S.C.No.94 of 2019 dated 26.06.2025 on the file of the Fast Track Mahila Court / Additional Special Court for Exclusive Trial of cases under POCSO Act, 2012, Kanniyakumari District at Nagercoil.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that they are having objections to condone the delay.

4. Considering the reasons assigned and also taking note of the quantum of delay, this Court is inclined to condone the delay. Accordingly, this petition is ordered and the Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order and list it for admission in the usual course.
