ORDER

By relying on sale deed dated 06.07.2011 and patta in the name of one Ammasi Devar, the petitioner applied for a survey of land in S.No.153/6B of an extent of 10 cents.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no action was taken in spite of submitting the application in August, 2025.

3. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for all the respondents. After pointing out that the patta does not stand in the name of the petitioner but in the name of Ammasi Devar, he submits that an enquiry would be conducted.

4. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on the merits, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to conduct an inquiry in relation to the petitioner's request for survey and pass a speaking order within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after also issuing notice to owners of relevant adjacent lands and considering objections, if any, from them. No costs.
