O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents herein from in any manner interfering with or disturbing the affairs of petitioner's club i.e., Relax Mana Mahil Mandram, based on the petitioner's representation dated 14.11.2025.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the secretary of Relax Mana Mahil Mandram, which is a registered club. In that club, the club members and office bearers playing games, including chess, carom, cards and other outdoor games, like tennis in open space available in the club. However, the respondent police is continuously indulging in disturbing with the activities of the club on the guise that the club members are playing cards involving money. However, it is made clear by the petitioner that the same is without involvement of money.

3. Per contra, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, categorically contended that the indulgence of police has become necessary only because of the fact that the members of the club are continuously playing cards with money and the relief sought for is not at all maintainable, because they are seeking a blanket protection order facilitating the members to play cards using money.

4. Considering the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, as the paramount consideration of this Court is the welfare of the youngsters of this society, this court does n't find any merit in the petitioner's representation seeking permission to play cards in their club with money.
