ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed to set aside the return order dated 22.09.2025 made in the copy application in C.A.No.3341 of 2025 dated 01.09.2025, and to direct the trial Court to furnish certified copies of the plaint, plaint annexure documents, and the affidavit and petition in I.A.No.2 of 2025 in O.S.No.60 of 2025 on the file of the Additional District Court, Sivagangai.

The learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner submitted that the petitioner had applied for certified copies of the plaint and other connected documents filed along with the plaint in O.S.No.60 of 2025. According to the revision petitioner, the copy application was returned on the ground that the documents annexed to the plaint are only Xerox copies.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the first respondent submitted that if certified copies are issued by affixing the seal of the Court, the same should not be treated as authenticated documents, as the documents filed are only Xerox copies.

4. This Court is of the view that there is no impediment for the trial Court to furnish certified copies of the documents available on record. Furnishing the certified Xerox copies, does not mean that those documents are authenticated documents, which are subject to proof at the time of marking during trial.

5. With the above observations, this Civil Revision Petition is allowed. No costs.
