This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai to expedite the trial in CC No.469 of 2022 and complete the same within a stipulated time.

2. Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court hereby directs the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai, to complete the trial in CC No.469 of 2022 and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
