ORDER

This contempt petition is filed to initiate contempt proceedings against the contemnor/ respondent and punish him for the wilful disobedience of the order of this Court passed in Crl.O.P(MD).No.20208 of 2024 dated 21.11.2024. 2.When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that pursuant to the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P(MD).No.20208 of 2024 dated 21.11.2024, investigation is still continuing since the matter pertains to an offence under Section 420 IPC. He further submitted that for the purpose of investigation, summon has been issued to the defacto complainat on 06.02.2024 to produce necessary documents. 3.However, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the summon was received only after the date on which the petitioner was required to appear.

4.Considering the submissions made, the petitioner is permitted to produce the necessary documents to the respondent /contemnor and on receipt of the same, the respondent/contemnor is directed to conclude the investigation as 2/4

expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of expert opinion.
