The petitioner, who is working as Chief Water Analyst at Regional Public Health Water Analysis Laboratory, Tirunelveli has filed this writ petition, challenging the order of transfer passed by the Principal Secretary to Government, Health and Family Welfare Department, Chennai, vide G.O. (D).No.1325, Health and Family Welfare (L2) Department, dated 11.11.2025 that the order of transfer has been passed at the verge of his retirement on 30.11.2026. 2.Mr.C.Venkatesh Kumar, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

3.This Court has entertained this writ petition and also granted an interim order, by its order, dated 25.11.2025, considering that the order of transfer has been passed during non-transfer period, and without citing any administrative exigencies. 4.Today(11.02.2026), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the impugned order of transfer has been revoked and he has been retained at Tirunelveli itself.

5.Recording the aforesaid submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
