India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the impugned order no.D.R. 2022/01013/23/163230TR dated 21.12.2022 passed by the third respondent and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents to take action to recover the land in S.F.No.143/2 situated in Karungalakudi Group, Sivagangai Taluk, Sivagangai District., based on the petitioner's representation dated 05.11.2025 within stipulated time frame fixed by this Court.

The Patta Transfer Order dated 21.12.2022 is challenged in this Writ Petition.

2. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice for respondents 1 to 5. He points out that the petitioner has filed an appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer for cancellation of patta on 05.11.2025. He also submits that the pending appeal would be considered and disposed of on merits by the Revenue Divisional Officer after issuing notice and providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the pattadar. 2/5

3. In view of the petitioner appealing against the order impugned herein, the request to set aside such order cannot be considered in this Writ Petition. Instead, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the Revenue Divisional Officer to consider and dispose of the pending appeal on merits within four (4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the pattadar/sixth respondent.
