By relying on settlement deed dated 31.08.2020 and rectification deed dated 04.09.2020, the petitioner seeks rectification of Patta No.1852 by issuing a separate patta in the petitioner's name for the extent of 1.79 ares in Survey No.111/3A1C1.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner referred to the sketch issued by the Survey Department after subdivision. He submits that a patta should be issued separately in the petitioner's name for this extent. 3.Learned Government Advocate accepts notice for the sole respondent. He submits that the Tahsildar is the appropriate authority to consider such a request.

4. In view of the above submission, "the Tahsildar, Madurai South, Madurai District" is suo motu impleaded as the second respondent in this writ petition.

5. The second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's request and dispose of the same on merits within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner.
