The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus as against the first respondent for issuance of fresh passport to the petitioner based upon his application dated 18.11.2025.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the second respondent submitted that there are two criminal cases are pending as against the writ petitioner in S.T.C.No.417 of 2023 and C.C.No.910 of 2025 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Srivilliputhur,

3. In view of the above said submissions, the petitioner is directed to approach the trial Court concerned seeking permission of the Court to go abroad. In case, if any such application is filed, the same shall be disposed of within a period of four weeks. Based upon the order passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Srivilliputhur, Virudhunagar District, the first respondent is directed to proceed in accordance with law. 2/4

4. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
