ORDER

This petition has been filed to relax the condition dated 30.06.2025 imposed on the petitioner by this Court in Crl MP(MD)No.7609 of 2025 in Crl.A(MD) No.190 of 2025.

2. Earlier, on 17.03.2025, this Court suspended the sentence with the following condition:

"7.Accordingly, this miscellaneous petition is allowed and the substantive sentence of imprisonment alone is suspended pending disposal of the criminal appeal. The petitioner is ordered to be enlarged on bail on executing a bond for Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judge, I Additional Special Court for NDPS Act Cases, Madurai. The petitioner shall stay at Trichy and shall report before the Station House Officer, Uppuliyapuram Police Station, Trichy, daily at 10.30 a.m., until further orders."

3. Thereafter, the petitioner filed an application seeking relaxation of the above condition. By order dated 30.06.2025, this Court relaxed the condition to the following effect.

"4.Accordingly, the condition already imposed is modified and the petitioner shall appear and sign before the 2/4

Thallakulam Police Station, Madurai, once in a week i.e.,on every Monday, till the disposal of the appeal".

4. The petitioner has now filed the second relaxation petition seeking relaxation of the condition directing him to appear before the Thallakulam Police Station, once in a week i.e., on every Monday till the disposal of the appeal.

5. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a daily coolie and he is unable to spend huge money for his travelling expenses for reporting to the Thallakulam Police Station, Madurai. The petitioner therefore seeks modification of the condition from once a week to once a Month.

6.Considering the fact that the petitioner is a daily coolie, relaxation is granted. Accordingly, the condition imposed by this Court on 30.06.2025, directing the petitioner to report before the Thallakulam Police Station, Madurai, once in a week is modified. The petitioner is directed to appear and sign before the Thallakulam Police Station, 3/4

Madurai, once in a month i.e, on first Monday of every Month, till the disposal of the appeal.
