O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.10.2025 in CSR No. 710/2025 and register the FIR against the third respondent.

2. The claim of the petitioner is that the petitioner is a woman and she has been living alone since her husband is working in Indian Army in the state of Rajasthan. The third respondent's parents, Pandiammal and Jayaraman had obtained an amount of Rs.6,00,000/- from the petitioner promising that they would repay the same before the arrival of her husband from Indian Army. However, the same was not followed by the third respondent and hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the second respondent, due to which an FIR was registered against them in Crime No.335 of 2025. Thereafter, they were released on anticipatory bail in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.13907 of 2025 in which a mediation was also initiated and failed. In the meanwhile, the third respondent has indulged in threatening the son of the petitioner and as a result of which, left with no other option, the petitioner lodged a complaint again before the Page No. 2 of 5

respondent police on 11.10.2025 for which CSR No.710 of 2025 was issued. Hence, the petitioner seeks for indulgence of this Court to direct the second respondent police to register an FIR against the third respondent.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, submitted that the police has already taken note of the petitioner's representation and C.S.R. has also been duly issued in the matter. It is already seized by the police and an appropriate inquiry has been commenced and the same will be concluded within two weeks.

4. In view of the same, notice to the third respondent is dispensed with. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the second respondent police to conclude the investigation within three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
