ORDER
The petitioners seek to quash the Charge Sheet in C.C.No.115 of 2024 on the file of the Learned Judicial Magistrate Additional Mahila Court, Madurai, which was filed for the offences under Section 294(b), 324, 506(2) of IPC and Section 4 of TNPHW Act, 2002.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the 2nd petitioner and the 2nd respondent are the husband and wife. The petitioners and the 2nd respondent are involved in a matrimonial dispute. A complaint was filed against the petitioners under Sections 294(b), 324, and 506(2) IPC r/w Section 4 of TNPHW Act, 2002, leading to FIR registration. Now, both parties are ready to settle this issue amicably.
3. The petitioners and the 2nd respondent have amicably settled the dispute. The 2nd petitioner and the 2nd respondent are leading a happy matrimonial life. The occurrence was a family dispute, and no 2/5
offence is made out. The parties have filed a joint compromise memo dated 01.12.2025.

The petitioners, namely, Kumar (Aadhaar No.5554 6034 7236), Lakshmi Priya (Aadhaar No.5240 4250 5176), Usha rani (Aadhaar No.5490 1843 0519) and the second respondent, namely, Aruneeswaran (Aadhaar No.9578 0930 7335) are present before this Court in person. All the parties confirmed the compromise arrived at between them.

In view of the same and considering the nature of the offences and the relationship between the parties, this Court is of the view that no useful purpose would be served in keeping the impugned charge sheet pending trial. Accordingly, the impugned charge sheet in C.C.No.115 of 2024 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate Additional Mahila Court, Madurai, is quashed and the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed.
