Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to regularize the petitioners service in the post of Optometrist w.e.f. 11.10.2002 and place him under the old pension scheme in pursuant to the proceedings of the 3rd respondent in Na.Ka.No. 3845/Ni2/2024 dated 15.10.2025 by taking account to the directions issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu in G.O.Ms.No. 2024, Revenue Department dated 15.05.1974 and Letter No. 3096/Ma.Va.1(2)/89 dated 11.08.1989 and by considering the 1/4
petitioner's representation dated 12.09.2025 within the period that may be stipulated by this Court and pass such other or further orders as this Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of this case and thus render justice.

ORDER
This writ petition is filed seeking direction to the respondents to regularize the petitioners service in the post of Optometrist w.e.f. 11.10.2002 and place him under the old pension scheme in pursuant to the proceedings of the 3rd respondent in Na.Ka.No. 3845/Ni2/2024 dated 15.10.2025 by taking account to the directions issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu in G.O.Ms.No. 2024, Revenue Department dated 15.05.1974 and Letter No. 3096/Ma.Va.1(2)/89 dated 11.08.1989 and by considering the petitioner's representation dated 12.09.2025. 2/4
2. Considering the fact that the 3rd respondent had forwarded the petitioner's request for regularization of his service to the first respondent through communication dated 15.10.2024 in Na.Ka.No.3845/Ni2/2024, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the proposal forwarded by the third respondent and to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
3. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
