Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 4 and 5 herein to permit the petitioners to write their 1st Semester B.P.Ed Examination from 26.11.2025 (as per the exam time table) onwards and to reschedule and conduct special exam to the subject held on 20.11.2025 as early as possible and to Publish Results and further permitting the petitioners to continue their B.P.Ed., programme in the K.R College of Physical Education from 2025 -2026 academic Year.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Mandamus directing the respondents 4 and 5 to permit the petitioners to write examination held from 20.11.2025 to 28.11.2025, publish results and allow the petitioners to continue the B.P.Ed., programme in the PMT College w.e.f., 2025 -2026 academic Year.

2.The petitioners are admitted in the two years B.P.Ed., (Bachelor of Physical Education) course for the academic year 2025-2026 at the K.R. College of Physical Education, Vedasandur, Dindigul District, after paying all necessary fee. The time table for the first semester for the first year B.P.Ed., was published fixing the venue of the examination at Thiruchendur. While so, all of a sudden, the fourth respondent University intimated the petitioners that they are withholding the examination of the petitioners's College without any 5/9

prior intimation and not allowed the petitioners to appear for their examinations. Hence, the petitioners have filed the present writ petition. 3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the learned Additional Advocate General produced a proceedings of the fourth respondent University, in and by which, the exam time table was rescheduled for the petitioners' college and has been published. 4.The rescheduled exam time table is extracted below for ready reference:

5. It is also informed that as a gesture of goodwill the Government had undertaken to bear the travel expenses of the students.

6. In view of the above and as the grievances of the petitioners is redressed by issuance of re-scheduled examination time table, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
