ORDER

This Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to condone the delay of 503 days that occurred in filing the present civil revision petition against the order in E.P.No.23 of 2023 in R.C.O.P.No.1 of 2016, dated 03.04.2025, on the file of the Rent Controller Authority/Principal District Munsif Court, Ambasamudram, Tirunelveli District. 2.The reason stated by the petitioners in their affidavit filed in support of this petition is that since the first revision petitioner is old, she is unable to mobilize the fund. Hence, the delay occurred.

3. The learned counsel for the respondents would submit that the petitioners have not explained the delay properly. The petitioners should explain the reasons for each day's delay. Even at the time of filing the appeal, there was a delay. The appeal itself was dismissed for nonprosecution.

4. In view of the submissions made on either side, the reasons assigned on the side of the petitioners cannot be accepted. 2/4

5. Accordingly, this civil miscellaneous petition is dismissed as devoid of merit. The civil revision petition is also rejected at the SR stage itself.
