The above petition has been filed seeking orders to condone the delay of 18 days in filing the appeal, challenging the award passed in M.C.O.P.No.116 of 2022 dated 04.07.2025 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal / Additional District Court, Virudhunagar.

2. Despite receipt of notice, the first respondent failed to enter into appearance.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent.

4. Considering the reasons assigned and taking note of the quantum of delay, this Court is inclined to condone the delay. Accordingly, this petition is ordered and the Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order and list it for admission in the usual course.
