O R D E R

The petitioner has requested for a direction to the Tahsildar to consider his request for issuance of patta in respect of survey Nos.306/30 and 306/32.

2. Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for all the respondents. He has placed on record an order dated 11.10.2025 of the District Revenue Officer rejecting the petitioner's request for cancellation of the patta issued to one Rajendran on the basis of a sale deed executed by Nallammal, the mother of the petitioner.

3. Considering the fact that the District Revenue Officer has rejected the petitioner's request, it is not open to the petitioner to reapply to the Tahsildar for grant of patta. The recourse open to the petitioner would be to challenge the sale deed executed by his mother in favour of Rajendran by approaching the jurisdictional civil court or to challenge the order of the District Revenue Officer.

4. With these observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of without any order as to costs.
