ORDER

An arbitration award dated 09.06.2025 is assailed in this writ petition. Pursuant to the acquisition proceedings under the National Highways Act, 1956, an acquisition award was issued. The same was challenged before the Arbitrator under Section 3G of the National Highways Act. Upon a Section 34 petition being filed against the arbitral award, the matter was remanded to the arbitral tribunal. Once again an award has been issued on 09.06.2025. The said award is challenged herein.

2. Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.D.Naveenkumar for Mr.Su.Srinivasan, learned counsel, appears for the 4th respondent.

3. Under the National Highways Act, recourse against the arbitral award 2/4

is by way of a petition under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996. Therefore, I am not inclined to entertain this writ petition. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed without any order as to costs by leaving it open to the petitioner to seek remedies in accordance with law. No costs.
